         Eggless French Toast

Prepared Eggless French Toast for breakfast and it tasted great. This is a great alternative for all those who are allergic to Egg or simply don't eat egg. Go ahead and try these Eggless French Toasts for a change and you will surely love it.

Ingredients:

Whole Wheat Bread - 1 loaf
Curds - 1 cup
Roasted rava - 3/4 cup
Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli paste - 1/2 tsp or Green chillies - 1 finely chopped
onion- 1 chopped finely
Salt to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves - A handful
Oil
Jeera - 1 tsp
Spring onion - 1 tbsp finely chopped (Optional)

Procedure:

1. Heat a 1 tsp oil in kadai add jeera, onion, ginger paste, green chilli paste and spring onion. Fry for few minutes.

2. Make a thick batter by adding curds, rava and ingredients from step 1. Add salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

3. Dip the bread slices in it, coat it on both sides.

4. Place a griddle on the flame.  On heating simmer  the flame and spread/brush oil on tava. Place the coated bread slices add oil and cook on medium flame till the bottom turns light brown. Flip and fry the other side by adding cooking oil on the sides of  it. Fry till it turns light brown.  Enjoy with Tomato sauce.
