         Bread Swirls

Bread swirls are crispy on the outside with a soft and cheesy potato stuffing. You can add as many as vegetables as possible and make the stuffing very delicious. I usually add 5-6 vegetables and make the stuffing very nutritious. This is the best way you can feed your family with vegetables.

You can prepare this in the morning and you can serve for your evening parties. Ultimately this is an awesome swirls.

Ingredients:


Bread slices - 5

mozzerala cheese - 3 tbsp

Grated carrot - 1/2 (optional)

Grated Beetroot  - 1/4 (optional)

Beans, Peas, knol khol, cabbage,corn - altogether chopped to 1 cup

Potatoes - 2 big sized

chillies - 1 finely chopped

ginger - 1/2 inch finely chopped

Onion - 1 finely chopped

Capsicum - 1/2 finely chopped (optional)

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Jeera - 1 tsp

Haldi - 1 tsp

Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Garam masala powder  - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon

medium sojji/rusk powder - 1 tbsp

Procedure:

1. Boil potatoes,Beans, Peas, knol knol, cabbage,corn in your pressure cooker.  Add as many veggie as possible. This is the best way to feed your family with vegetables.

2. Place a wide thick bottomed bowl on the flame with 5 teaspoons of cooking oil in it.  On heating add mustard seeds.  On sputtering add finely chopped ginger, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder & garam masala powder to it.

3. Add chopped onion and fry till transparent. Add capsicum and fry for 2 mins.

4. Add grated carrot and grated beetroot. Fry for 2 more mins.

5. Finally add mashed potatoes and boiled vegetables. Add salt to taste. Add rusk powder or bread crumbs. Add lime juice and grated coriander.  Allow the mixture to cool. 

6. Remove the sides of the bread n join them with little water edge to edge overlaping 1 cm.

Now spread the stuffing evenly on the bread sheet and leave the last 1 cm for sealing.Sprinkle the cheese on the stuffing n roll it slowly from one end and seal the end gently with little water .Then wrap it foil or plastic sheet n freeze for 30 minutes minimum. You can freeze for a long time also. Anytime after 30 minutes you can unwrap and cut the roll into thin slices.

Toast each slice on a tawa with medium flame till golden brown on both the sides.

Your awesome bread swirls are ready and can be served with tomato sauce.
