Radish Gojju/Sasuve Kobari gojju is very simple dish which takes very few ingredients and gets done very fast. My mom-in-law taught this recipe for me. Try this tasty gojju/sabzi ...
Ingredients:
Radish - 2 cut into round shaped sizes
Tamrind juice - 1 1/4 tbsp
Jaggery - 1 tbsp
Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
Sasuve/Mustard seeds - much less than 1/4 tsp
Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
Red chillies - 2 big
Asafoetida - pinch
urad dal - 1/4 tsp
curry leaves - 1 strand
Procedure:
1. Fry Red chillies and Methi seeds in 1/4 tsp oil.
2. Grind Step 1 ingredients with Coconut, Asafoetida and Mustard seeds to fine paste.

3. Heat the Oil in a
pan, add Mustard seeds,
once it splutters, add urad dal, asafoetida, Curry leaves.
4. Put Radish pieces ,sprinkle salt and little water and close the lid. Make sure it is in low flame for 5 - 8 mins.
5. Put the masala paste from step 2. Mix well. Then add tamarind juice, jaggery, salt to taste. Add little water and mix well. Let it boil for 5 mins.
Your Gojju is ready to serve.
