         Halwa/Jelly

Microwave Corn Flour Halwa/Jelly is very easy to prepare and needs very little ghee unlike other sweets.
Add food colors and make it colorful. We actually prepared it in 3 colors one in orange color, second one without any food color and third with green color to represent Our Indian National Flag.

Try this simple recipe of corn flour halwa/Jelly ...

corn flour halwa
Ingredients:

Corn Flour: 1/2 cup

Sugar: 1 1/2 cups

Water: 2 cups

Any Food Color: A pinch (Food colours are available in Apple Green, Orange Red ...)

Ghee: 1/4 tsp

Note: Which ever cup you use follow this ratio 1 part corn flour, 2 parts sugar and 4 parts water.

Procedure:

1. Mix Corn Flour, sugar, water, food colour in large microwavable bowl, without any lumps.

jelly

2. Heat in microwave for 6 minutes in high mode. In between for 4 minutes remove the vessel, mix well and keep it back.

halwa jelly

3. Again keep for 6 minutes in microwave stirring in between for 4 minutes. Make sure you heat it totally for 12 minutes (Step 2 + Step 3 = 12 minutes in microwave).

4. Grease a plate with ghee, pour in the jelly immediately from microwave.

5. Allow it cool for half an hour, cut into pieces and enjoy.
