         Crispy Wedges - Left Over Idlis

We often wonder what to do with the leftovers of a previous breakfast items or meals. Here i am sharing some good and tasty recipe from the leftover idlis. You might have tried out Masala Idlis, Idli Upma, but here is an interesting recipe of wedges made out from the left over idlis.


Got this recipe from my mom, she is very good at preparing delicious food.

Sending this recipe to  Kid's Delight - Dressing up Leftovers
 
Ingredients:

Left over Idlis - 5/6
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Oil for frying

Procedure:

1. Slice the idlis lengthwise as shown in picture.

2. Deep fry these sliced idlis in oil on a low flame till it turns golden brown.

3. Take out when crispy and transfer it to a plate. Use kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.

4. Repeat with all the sliced idlis. Sprinkle salt with pepper powder/chilly powder and serve hot with sauce.
